Introduction

Ridgeline Shops LLC, doing business as Ridgeline Archery ("Ridgeline," "we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains the information we collect when you use our website and bow-configuration services, how we use that information, when information may be shared, and the choices available to you.

Our goal is to collect and use information necessary to provide and improve the Ridgeline experience without using customer information for unrelated purposes.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the site, Ridgeline may collect information you voluntarily provide, including:

  • Bow and equipment selections
  • Configuration preferences
  • Saved Build Session information

  • Product and configuration selections
  • Funnel events
  • Build abandonment

  • Order or build-request conversion

Technical Information

Our website is hosted on a third-party platform (Base44) that may automatically collect certain technical information when you visit, such as IP addresses, browser or device information, server logs, and similar operational data. This information is collected and managed by the hosting provider as part of normal website operation.

How Information Is Used

Ridgeline may use collected information to:

  • Save customer builds
  • Restore saved builds
  • Process submitted build requests
  • Route submitted build requests to the selected fulfilling dealer
  • Communicate regarding a customer's build
  • Send order or build-request status updates
  • Calculate and display approximate dealer distance
  • Provide product-selection guidance
  • Provide arrow-spine guidance
  • Detect abandoned builds
  • Send limited abandoned-build recovery communication
  • Understand where customers encounter difficulty
  • Analyze product and configuration interest
  • Improve the website and customer experience
  • Maintain application security and reliability
  • Respond to customer questions and privacy requests

Ridgeline does not sell customer personal information.

Ridgeline does not currently use customer information for unrelated advertising or newsletter marketing.

Email Communications

When you provide an email address in connection with a Build Session or submitted build request, Ridgeline may use that email to:

  • Save and restore your build
  • Provide requested build or order information
  • Communicate dealer or order status
  • Send a limited reminder regarding an unfinished build
  • Request optional feedback about why a build was not completed

Ridgeline does not currently use Build Session email addresses for general newsletters or unrelated promotional campaigns.

Build recovery emails identify Ridgeline, use truthful subject lines, and avoid deceptive content. Where applicable, these communications include an appropriate opt-out or communication-preference mechanism.

Location Information

You may provide a ZIP code or other location information to estimate your distance from participating pro shops. Where supported, you may optionally allow browser location access. Browser location permission is entirely optional.

Ridgeline does not intentionally continuously track your physical location. Location information is used primarily to:

  • Determine approximate distance to eligible dealers
  • Help you choose a fulfillment location
  • Support the build and dealer-selection process

Distance estimates are approximate and should not be relied upon for exact GPS accuracy.

Saved Builds

If you choose "Save & Finish Later," we use the email address you provide to save your configuration and send you a secure link to return.

Intentionally saved builds are generally retained for up to 30 days from your most recent activity so that you can continue working on them.

If you do not return within that period, personal information associated with the unfinished build is deleted or de-identified. We may retain non-identifying aggregate information about the Build Session for analytics and service improvement.

Intentionally saved builds are distinct from abandoned builds. If you simply leave without saving, the existing abandoned-build retention and recovery process applies. Intentional saves are not classified as abandonment.

Build Session and Funnel Data

When you use our configuration tools, we may record information about your Build Session, such as which steps you reach, the equipment you select, whether you complete a build request, and whether you later return to a saved build.

We use this information to operate the saved-build feature, understand how customers use the configurator, identify areas where the experience can be improved, and better understand customer product interests.

Sharing Information

Ridgeline does not sell customer personal information. Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with:

1. Your Selected Fulfilling Dealer

When you submit a build request, information necessary to fulfill and communicate about that request may be provided to the selected participating dealer. This may include:

  • Customer contact information
  • Requested products
  • Configuration specifications
  • Build information
  • Other information reasonably necessary to fulfill the request

2. Service Providers

Information may be processed by technology and service providers necessary to operate the website, hosting, database, email, mapping or geocoding, security, and related infrastructure. Such providers receive information only as necessary to perform their services, subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices.

3. Legal and Safety Purposes

Information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or protect the security and integrity of the service.

Unsubmitted Builds

Participating dealers do not receive your unfinished Build Session simply because you viewed or considered their dealership. Customer information necessary for fulfillment is shared with a selected dealer when you submit a build request.

Data Retention

We retain personal information and Build Session information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services described in this Policy, maintain business and operational records, resolve disputes, protect the service, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it is maintained.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information maintained through the service. However, no method of transmitting or storing information electronically can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Customer Privacy Requests

You may contact ridgelinearchery@gmail.com to ask questions about Ridgeline's privacy practices or request reasonable access, correction, or deletion of personal information maintained by Ridgeline, subject to applicable legal and legitimate business-record retention requirements.

Age Requirement

The website may include products intended for youth archers, but submission of Build Sessions and build requests is intended for persons 18 years of age or older.

If you are under 18, please have a parent or legal guardian use these features on your behalf.

Ridgeline does not knowingly intend to collect personal information from children under 13 through the Build Session or build-request features.

This Privacy Policy may be updated as the service changes. Material changes should be reflected by updating the Last Updated date.
